We submitted to Aquatic Toxicology in December 2016. Unfortunately, our manuscript was rejected in February 2017; reviewers were unsatisfied with aspects of the experiments conducted in our study. After we amended our experiments, we re-submitted our manuscript in early June, and it was accepted later that month.
