It should be the top breeding journal recognized in the industry, especially for wheat. The level of the article is good, and there is more than enough. Although the impact factor is similar to that of Frontier in Plant Science, it is better than Frontier's reputation. Articles in this journal are definitely a highly praised one for academic students.

Submitted last July, the comments were given four months later. After the revision following the reviewer's comments, I waited for another three months. Reviewer 2 said that there is no problem, the article is very well modified, and reviewer 1 said there are still problems. The article was modified according to the requirements of reviewer 1.  After the result was modified, I waited for 2 weeks, and then was told there was still a problem. After that, I revised and resubmitted. It has been one month since then. It has been more than 10 months since the original submission of the manuscript. During this period, three articles in other journals have been accepted for publication, and their impact factors are higher than TAGS. I thought the TAGS reviewer's review was uneven, and the review speed was super slow! The QTL and mapping articles are better published elsewhere, and the rest of the field suggests not considering this journal.

After more than ten years of graduation, I finally published my first positioning related research.
