Many top experts have published papers there, such as T. Tao, G. Andrews, K. Ono, etc. You can check if these people are top experts. So don't say such harsh words. Appl. Math. Letters is in the first quartile and Appl. Math. Comp. is in the second quartile. Are you saying these two journals are not reputable? The categorization of mathematics journals is sometimes illogical; it feels like a lousy journal for undergraduate or master's students to practice on.
