I was informed that it was selected as Editor's Pick on the same day. This speed is my first time encountered; it is estimated that it will be difficult to encounter in the future. Different people have different opinions on the quality of the journal, but the efficiency is really good. The reviewers met were relatively professional and careful, who pointed out all the issues of the figures and grammar. Overall, it is a good journal in the field of fluids.

In the beginning, the article was submitted to several journals of marine engineering, but all rejected it. Finally, it was transferred to mechanics journals. Timelines: 2020-04-04, submission; 2020-05-09, the result of first review was returned; 2020-05-28, the revised manuscript was submitted (as of 05-30); 2020-06-02, accept. The speed was fast. Maybe the field was not popular, it took a long time to inviting the experts in the first review. Finally, two experts agreed to review. One expert of the first review said, “Therefore I think the paper is suitable for publication”. The other one raised several revision comments, the tough part was that it was required to consider the influence of two factors. After the submission of the revised manuscript, one and a half of the two factors required to supplement was done. The unfinished half one was a theory, so I revised and explained that there was no solution for definite integral. I finally got the evaluation, “I'm very satisfied with the author's revision”. I am waiting for it to be published. The submission system is very good, and the status of the article is very detailed. Hope your articles can be accepted by the ideal journals!

The paper was submitted in the evening of December 27, 2019. Although it was a weekend, the response was extremely fast. At the first night, I told me that there should be no abbreviations in the title. He urged me several times, and then I revised it the next morning. On the third day, a letter was received, saying that my paper was fairly suitable for the journal, but Figure 1 needs to be changed, and let me get it done within a week. I got up to see the letter and modified it immediately. Regardless of whether it would be finally accepted, the professionalism and response speed of this journal is indeed okay! In the worst case, even if the paper is rejected, it can be improved a lot under their supervision. The impression so far is good. If we can cooperate happily later, I will often submit manuscripts to this journal in the future if something innovative!

High novelty is the most important factor to get work published in this journal. The journal doesn't accept an article until the reviewers are fully convinced, btw.
