The first review lasted for twelve months and was rejected. There were two reviewers, one recommended major revisions while the other rejected it. Despite the declining popularity in the field of economic geology, the journal OGR, which is one of the top three journals in mineral deposits, is gradually moving away from open access (OA). However, MD still has certain requirements for innovation. I hope we can stand strong together with EG.
