A very bizarre experience, after submitting the manuscript, they asked for missing materials to be resubmitted. After resubmitting, it was sent for review, but about a week later, another email came saying that materials were missing and needed to be resubmitted again. After resubmitting again, the system showed a duplicate submission, and the manuscript was withdrawn directly. The editor did not respond to emails, and when contacting the journal, they just passed the buck.
