It took one month for the revision. The comments of the reviewers were very detailed. It is the first article in my Ph.D. During the process of major revision, it was basically rewritten, which was helpful for the improvement of the article. Thank you, the reviewers and editor. Only one month was given for major revision, which was a bit short for me because there were many changes.

Well, the article is about agricultural and water, and a small improvement to the algorithm. I found some journals and felt that this is relatively related to my article, so I tried to submit to it. We waited for 3 months and felt that there was no hope. And suddenly, a minor revision was required. I hurried revising it and sent it back. Finally, it was accepted luckily. Only after it was accepted, I learned that this journal is a great one, as my teacher did not do relevant research in this area before. I just got the luck, and I will continue to work on it in the future. July 2019, submission; early October, minor revision made; mid-October, acceptance; November, online; February 2020, published.

This is the top journal for agricultural water management studies. From submission to acceptance is about 11 months (at least from my experience). I submitted on August 24, 2016. By April 26, 2017, I had received word that my manuscript was accepted pending major revisions. It was accepted post-revision on July 31, 2017. Since the opinions of two reviewers only mentioned small problems of adding references or figure clarifications, I don’t believe that the editor should have sent the paper for another review after the initial major revision. However, after I did all the revisions and the manuscript was with the editor for a month, it was directly accepted. Despite all this, this was also the first SCI journal that I submitted to during my doctoral dissertation. I had submitted to other journals, but my papers were rejected before I graduated. I honestly submitted to this journal, agriculture water management, hoping for easy publication. Now that I’ve graduated, this paper has only come out. Not good.
