Cons:
Although my manuscript was accepted several months after submission, the processing time for other manuscripts is longer, so it is not recommended for those in urgent need of a paper.
Compared to the current academic journal environment, the impact factor of this longstanding journal is not high and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) ranking is constantly decreasing. Additionally, the journal publishes few articles and the associated society does not focus on publicity.

Pros:
It does not require open access, saving money.
If you do not care about the CAS ranking, it is still good (for example, in my niche field, the impact of this journal is still decent, not to the extent of being evaluated as CAS Zone 4).
