Could you please share the main research content and overall research direction of your article that was rejected by Data Science and Engineering? After submitting on May 14, 2025, I received a rejection letter from the system on May 24, 2025. The editor's comments were generally positive, mentioning that the issues discussed in the paper were interesting and practical. However, the main problem was that the paper did not meet the standards of research papers. As a research journal, submissions should formalize the problem and propose innovative ideas. Unfortunately, this paper did not meet those requirements. Additionally, it lacked necessary experiments to validate the proposed ideas. Just to give you some background, my research direction is data pricing, and the specific content of the rejected article focused on the participant selection problem in mobile crowdsensing or mobile networks.
