It is my first article completed independently during the master's period, which is a review about nano repairing materials. Let me talk about my thoughts. After the article was completed, I found that a very similar review from an authoritative research group had been published on EP; it was then submitted to the Science of the Total Environment and was rejected after 20 days, and then it was revised and submitted ESPR. There were three reviewers in total. The comments were not too tricky to respond. The first and third reviewers listed more than ten papers for reference. The second reviewer said that the article was not innovative enough and some of the content needed to be improved. I supplemented some contents to where they pointed out and added all the references to complete the first revision. I thought there might be a minor revision later, but I didn’t expect it to be accepted directly. I was very happy.
