The review in this journal is fast, but the difficulty is not low. It took us almost 3 months to write the paper. August 31, submitted. October 20, revision was required. Within 3 weeks, three reviewers asked nearly 50 questions. This is my first time submitting to a SCI journal, I had no experience, and made many basic mistakes. It is really miserable to revise it for 3 weeks. And I agreed whatever the reviewers said and make corresponding revisions. If anything can't be corrected, I would explain it well. If you are humble, there will be no problem. Don’t be stubborn, it’s also not easy for the reviewers. It takes time for them to read our articles carefully. Once you are stubborn, they feel upset, and it will be over. On November 10, I uploaded the revised manuscript. On November 20, the 3 reviewers were very good, and there were no other comments. Otherwise, I really can’t revise anymore. On November 25, online. I was so lucky, and it went quite smooth for the first SCI paper, although I was so tired to get a lumbar muscle strain... The number of submissions is too high now. Last week, I submitted a paper and received a desk rejection after four days, the reason being that the volume of submissions is too high. So now, getting published depends on luck. The moment the handling editor clicks "approve submission," the fate of your paper is decided. If you are lucky and get assigned to a handling editor familiar with your research field, your paper will be sent for review. If you are unlucky and the handling editor is not familiar with your research or is not interested, your paper will be rejected directly. This is not necessarily related to the quality of your paper. So, don't be discouraged, quickly submit to another journal.

A research article conducted in the middle of last year was initially intended to be submitted to a journal on clean production. However, considering the average reputation of the journal, my doctoral advisor recommended BAE, which was more suitable. After making some modifications to the article to align it more with the field of architectural environment, it was submitted.

On 26th January, the article was submitted and by 28th January, it was under review.

By 20th November, the first round of review was completed, requiring major revisions. Reviewer 1 provided over 30 detailed comments, while Reviewer 2 had three more general comments. 

After making the necessary revisions, the article was resubmitted on 16th December and was under review the next day.

On 2nd January, the second round of review was completed, still requiring significant revisions but with fewer comments. Reviewer 1 had eight comprehensive comments while Reviewer 2 had no further comments, indicating acceptance.

The final revision was submitted on 14th January, and the next day it was under review again.

On 21st January, the review process was completed, and the article was accepted.
